👩🎤Why Chibipunks?
Intellectual property aside, there are genuinely a number of good reasons on the smart contract level to mint yourself a ChibiPunk PFP:
ERC721A Because they use Azuki's ERC721A standard, gas fees are markedly reduced, specifically in regards to bulk minting (max mint is set at 15 per transaction).
Anti-Smart Contract Call (Anti-bot) Basically there is a clause in the minting function which restricts minting to users only. This means anyone running a smart contract to pick up NFTs on bulk for cheap, is sorta shit outta luck. This is fairer to everyone.
Transparent wallet allocation In the smart contract itself, you'll see in the withdraw function 60% goes to a specific address. This is a wallet address set up specifically to give to the charity, when the time is right. More info about this can be gleaned in the charity section.
DnD-style Attributes You'll notice each ChibiPunk features 5 stat attributes with a random number, a la DnD style (out of 20). Due to the CC0 nature of these NFTs, it's not impossible to hope that these stats may one day be utilized for decentralised gaming.
