Welcome to Adorable Whales Association, a PFP collection launched in as part of a launchpad initiative with onAvax NFT Marketplace of the Avalanche platform! AWA Consists of 999 Whales, of varying adorableness. The Whales can only be exclusively minted through onAvax, costing a mere 2 AVAX!
Why Avalanche?
As a proof-of-stake network, Avalanche consumes 35,000x energy less than Ethereum and 200,000x less than Bitcoin. It also runs on a DAG consensus model, which in turn uses less energy, scales better and costs less in gas fees.

Roadmap and plans
If there's demand for it, I would like to do a Season 2 of Adorable Whales Association. Ideally I'd like 60-80% of the proceeds to go to a charity in the protection and conservation of whales in the Atlantic. More info can be seen below: https://www.whalenation.org/ This project is not affiliated with Whale Nation in anyway, they're just a really good charity to donate to. Instead of donating after full mint, to maximize returns for the charity, the plan would be to wait until we're in full bull market. The barometer to measure this will be the Bitcoin fear/greed measure. Once we're in full Extreme Greed the donation will take place.
